Shirey has 40 plus years of experience in the corporate world with an international engineering and construction consulting firm. She evolved from design and construction to senior management. She is an advocate of inspired growth, and believes that a well-defined vision is key to that growth.  Her ability to assess situations and develop strategic solutions is one of her many strengths and paired with her ability to listening and understand her client’s needs makes for a very affective partnership in achieving development goals.  She has managed and mentored within her professional and personal life as well as owned and operated her own business for several years.  She has a global mind-set spanning different corporate cultures and diversities.

Personal

Shirey lives near Seacliff beach in Aptos, CA while also spending some time at her home amongst the vineyards of Livermore while her post graduate daughter lives in Los Angeles.  Migrating from Hong Kong at the age 3 with her family to Vancouver Canada, Shirey grew up on stage influenced by her renowned Cantonese Opera Master father.  She worked designing ski areas and villages while living in Whistler, BC and as a construction coordinator in a 600 man coal mining camp in the Rockies.  Her engineering career brought her to San Francisco in 1989 and she has traveled all over the country and the world since her teenage years.
