- About Us
After our $1B consulting services firm invested heavily in its first acquisition, a Silicon Valley high-tech company, I enlisted The Piras Group's advice and coaching to tackle the cultural integration issues. Our work together on this project allowed me to be more successful in leading the new combined culture than otherwise would have been possible. We created a new vision, needed buy-in, set clear strategy, and managed the development of the new business with minimal turnover during the first year.
After a challenging merger of equals, we were able to simplify the complexity of our restructuring and refocusing our group, thanks to The Piras Group's change management coaching and facilitation. As a newly formed Fortune 300 global technology company, we had limited resources, changes in our structure and culture, new players, lack of trust and membership, low morale and burnout. At stake was the success of the corporation, which was depending on the support of my team to manage through the strategic transactions, intellectual asset management, and dispute resolution that lay ahead of the business.
As a result of the coaching and facilitation our team received, we accelerated development of an innovative, long-term strategy including defining a new service model, leveraged my role as senior leader more effectively, scaled our financial model team—the outcomes were critical to our success.
The coaching and strategy and team process facilitation we received proved invaluable to our timely reinvention of our global fulfillment model strategy and metrics. The off sites with my executive team and extended management team have been remarkably successful. The insights provided by Therese and The Piras Group on leadership and thinking ‘out of the box’ are acutely relevant and useful. Because we were able to have conversations that were not critical or defensive, we were able to raise awareness that we are not very good at looking at what customers want and need from us. These insights created the turnaround needed for owning and delivering results positively impacting customer satisfaction and financial performance.
I was able to step into my full leadership while forging quick regeneration of a broken business team. The coaching I received and the facilitation with my team helped me at a time when significant revenues were dependent upon a B2B implementation, yet our accelerated schedule had come to a complete halt. Within days after our team offsite, a new level of commitment to quality processes and results was restored. People took responsibility for their actions and the finger pointing and blame stopped. The team achieved a breakthrough in quality in less than four months. Afterwards, there were three major project releases all ahead of schedule!
